The function of Tef-Gel in combating metal corrosion with dissimilar metals is to prevent electrolytes (seawater for example) from touching the metal surfaces. Tef-Gel contains 40% PTFE powder and 0% volatile substances, no silicones or oil-based solvents that can evaporate.
